Crossing Delancey is a romantic comedy set in New York.  Bookstore worker Isabelle Grossman is torn between the world of writers and artists who inhabit uptown New York and the traditional way of life of the Lower East Side.  These worlds come to life in the form of well-known author, Tyler Moss and a gentle pickle man named Sam Posner, both of whom seek to win Izzy's affections.  In Sam's case, he is assisted by Izzy's feisty grandmother and her overbearing companion, the local matchmaker.
